pysches starved by wintry blast
of grey solitude.

No summer's shimmer compares

Petals In The Snow
As the chill of winter weighs heavy on this burdened
heart ... I have succumbed to those moments when
your presence lingers with me ... when I'm able to
rest in the serenity of your whispers and the comfort
of your embrace; I surrendered my heart under the
breath of a summer sky so long ago ... and even
now when all that remains are crimson petals
cast upon a blanket of snow ...
it's still yours
Though you're gone I can never release sweet
memories that remain etched in my soul so
devotedly ... it's your breath I feel when I lie
in bed at night ... it's your warmth that delivers
me from night chills that would otherwise freeze
forever any thoughts of happiness; I cannot be
sad when I sense you near ... I am numb to
death's icy tendrils and brush them off like
unwanted snowflakes upon my heart ...
it's ever you I seek
My eternal love you have ... a devotion that
time nor distance can ever diminish ... immortal
sentiments that will draw me close to you should
the days rest heavy and my spirit grow weary;
hush me in the realm of your wings and carry me
gently in those moments when I reach for you ...

I mean it came down hard, just glad

Hello Rick
Hope all is ok with you and your weather is good, been rough here the last couple of days with tornado warnings
and watches but all is good now. I was just
cleaning up some mess out of the pool today such as samll limbs, leaves and even a rat eeeekkkkk
